Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Launched in India with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, IPX8 Rating, Two 165Hz OLED Displays

Motorola has officially launched the Razr 50 Ultra clamshell foldable smartphone in India. To recall, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra recently made its debut in China as the flip smartphone with the largest cover display.

Now, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra comes to India with its Snapdragon chipset, upgraded camera system, two super-smooth P-OLED displays, a sizeable battery with fast charging support, and a whole host of AI features to improve the user experience.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Specifications and Features

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Razr 50 Ultra also packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

Motorola has also updated the camera setup on the Razr 50 Ultra. It now consists of a 50 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and an f/1.7 aperture and a 50 MP telephoto unit with an f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Lastly, the hole-punch camera cutout on the screen houses a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Moto Razr 50 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ P-OLED internal display with a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen will feature an adaptive 1Hz - 165Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also boasts a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

The phone also features a massive 4-inch cover display, the biggest on a flip smartphone. Moreover, the cover screen features the same specifications as the internal display, including the FHD+ resolution, the adaptive 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a slightly lower 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

The cover display allows you to access several features including watching videos, navigation details, and access apps, including Gemini AI. The latest Razr 50 Ultra flip smartphone runs Android 14-based Hello UI with Moto AI integration. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra also features a 6000 series aluminum frame and an IPX8 rating for water resistance.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Price and Availability in India

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra price in India is set at Rs 99,999 for the sole 12GB/512GB model. The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is offered in Spring Green, Peach Fuzz, and Midnight Blue colour options.

Pre-booking for the Razr 50 Ultra will start from July 10 via Amazon.in, motorola.in and offline stores. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will go on sale from July 20 during Amazon's Prime Day 2024 Sale. Motorola is offering a bank discount of Rs 5,000 using select cards on its upcoming flip smartphone.
