Motorola seems to be launching the successor of the Razr 50 Ultra soon dubbed -- Razr 60 Ultra. The alleged Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has been spotted on BIS certification, suggesting an imminent launch. Here's what to expect from the next-gen flip phone from Motorola.

A new Motorola phone identified with the code number XT2551, has appeared on India's BIS portal (as spotted by 91Mobiles), said to be the upcoming Razr 60 Ultra. Earlier, the foldable smartphone codenamed "Orion" was also spotted online.

As far as the launch is concerned, the Razr 60 Ultra is expected to arrive earlier than expected. For the unaware, the precursor Motorola Razr 50 Ultra visited BIS certification in April 2024, followed by a July launch. If the brand follows the same strategy, the phone might see the light in the month of March.

While 91mobiles doesn't mention the exact launch timeline, it just suggests Motorola Razr 60 Ultra could launch in India in the second quarter of this year. Since all are speculations, it's better to wait for reliable confirmation.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra: What to Expect?

There's no information regarding the specs of the upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. We expect some upgrades over the Razr 50 Ultra which was launched with a price tag of Rs 99,999.

In terms of features, the phone has a 6.9-inch FHD+ P-OLED internal display with an adaptive 1Hz - 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The Razr 50 Ultra features a 4-inch cover display and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset under its hood.

The Razr 50 Ultra also packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. Moreover, the device offers a 50MP primary camera sensor with OIS and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
