Motorola Razr 70 Ultra Full Specifications and Design Tipped Ahead of Launch: What to Expect

The next Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is once again in the news, with a fresh leak outlining almost every major specification after last week's renders surfaced. The Moto Razr 70 Ultra is expected to make its global debut next month.

The leak claims the Razr 70 Ultra keeps most hardware from the Razr 60 Ultra, which hints at a modest yearly refresh. According to the information, the main changes centre on battery capacity, while the design, screens and camera layout stay largely familiar.

Motorola Razr 70 Ultra Specifications

As per the leak, the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC from 2024, paired with 16GB RAM for heavy multitasking and 512GB internal storage. The device reportedly runs Android 16 out of the box, which should bring Google's latest interface and security features.

The leak also lists a 5,000 mAh battery for the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra, up from 4,700 mAh on the Razr 60 Ultra, which represents a 6% increase in capacity. Wired charging is expected at 68W, suggesting relatively quick top-ups despite the larger cell.

Camera hardware for the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra appears unchanged, according to the report by Android Headlines. On the back, a 50MP main camera is joined by a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The inner display reportedly houses a 50MP selfie camera, keeping resolution consistent across all three lenses.

The leak further notes an IP48 rating for the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra, indicating protection against some dust and limited water exposure. With almost every other specification matching the earlier Razr 60 Ultra leaks, the device currently looks like a minor update focused mainly on battery size.

Motorola Razr 70 Ultra Design and Display

The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is said to measure 171.48 x 73.99 x 7.19 mm when opened flat, with a weight of 199g. The inner foldable panel is tipped to be 7 inches with 1224 x 2992 resolution, while the external 4-inch cover screen should offer 1080 x 1272 resolution. Both screens could feature a 120Hz display.

Recent press renders reveal the Razr 70 Ultra in two new finishes: Orient Blue Alcantara and Pantone Cocoa Wood. This suggests Motorola is continuing with the wood and Alcantara-inspired designs introduced last year, which proved popular with the Razr 60 Ultra (also known as the Razr Ultra 2025).

That said, these may not be the only colour options for the Razr 70 Ultra. The device has already surfaced in a Pantone African Violet variant, and going by last year's strategy, Motorola is expected to offer multiple colour choices at launch. The Moto Razr 70 Ultra is expected to make its debut globally next month and could launch in India in June or July.
