Motorola Set to Bring Another “Power” Phone to India, Could Be Moto G06 Power
Motorola seems to be getting ready to bring its latest budget phone, the Moto G06 Power, to India. The company dropped a teaser hinting at the word “Power,” which lines up with the model already launched in Europe. A formal launch date hasn’t been announced yet, but the reveal is expected soon.

What the Teaser Suggests
The teaser doesn’t spell out the phone’s name, but the emphasis on “Power” gives it away. Motorola has long used the Power branding for its battery-focused models, so it’s not much of a leap to guess what’s on the way.
Display and Build
Since the Moto G06 Power is already available in Europe, we know what to expect on the hardware front. The phone sports a 6.88-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That makes it smoother than most entry-level phones, at least on paper. Motorola also gave it an IP64 rating, which means it can handle light splashes and some dust.
Hardware Under the Hood
The phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset. Buyers will get options with 4GB or 8GB of RAM, paired with storage tiers that go up to 256GB. It remains to be seen whether all these versions make it to India or if the company trims the lineup for the local market.
Battery Is the Real Highlight
The star of the show is the 7,000mAh battery. It’s one of the largest packs you’ll see on a mainstream phone, and it supports 18W charging. While it’s not the fastest charging standard, the size of the battery suggests you’ll need to plug it in less often, which is exactly what a Power model promises.
Cameras and Other Features
On the back, there’s a 50MP main camera with LED flash, while the front gets an 8MP selfie shooter. The Moto G06 Power also includes Android 15 out of the box, dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD support, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In short, it ticks the boxes for basic everyday use.
