Ever since Motorola announced its upcoming Motorola Signature 27 last month, one question has been on everyone's mind- how much will it cost? Looking at its specifications, it is clear that Motorola is positioning it as a flagship smartphone. And in India, flagship phones often come with a price tag of over Rs 1 lakh these days. Motorola Signature 27 Expected Price in India

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Motorola Signature 27 could be priced between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 in India. The information is reportedly based on a claim by TrakinTech, which says it spoke to the Motorola team about the phone's pricing. The team also reportedly highlighted the work put into improving the cameras on the upcoming flagship.

Now, if this turns out to be true, the Motorola Signature 27 could be priced quite aggressively for a phone with flagship specifications. It would also put the device in a more accessible price bracket than the Rs 1 lakh-plus segment that many premium smartphones now occupy. However, do keep in mind that this is still a leak, and Motorola has not confirmed the final price.

Motorola Signature 27 Specifications

The Motorola Signature 27 was unveiled last month at the Snapdragon Summit as the second generation in the brand's premium smartphone lineup. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset. The processor is expected to bring improvements to performance, gaming, connectivity and on-device AI capabilities.

For cameras, the Motorola Signature 27 is said to feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. The phone will also come with Motorola's Video Enhancement Engine, which uses AI to analyse a scene and adjust colour tones in real time while recording. This could be particularly useful for users who shoot a lot of videos on their phones.

The company has also confirmed that the Signature 27 will receive seven years of OS upgrades. It is expected to support GrapheneOS, an open-source operating system that uses privacy-focused technologies to limit apps and websites from tracking users or accessing sensitive data. However, the exact details of this support are still unclear.

The Motorola Signature 27 will be available in Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Green colour options. It will also feature a redesigned camera module that stretches across the upper portion of the rear panel.

Motorola has confirmed the phone's India launch, but it has yet to announce an exact launch date. The device is expected to compete with upcoming premium smartphones such as the OPPO Find X10, Vivo X500 and OnePlus 16.
