Motorola to Launch Edge 50 Series Globally on April 16th

Following the Indian launch of the Edge 50 Pro, Motorola is gearing up for the global launch of its entire Edge 50 series on April 16th. The rest of the Edge 50 lineup comprises of the top-end Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and the mid-ranger Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

Edge 50 Ultra Leaked press renders reveal the Edge 50 Ultra in three color options: Peach Fuzz and Black with a vegan leather finish, and Sisal with a brushed Beige finish. The phone is expected to be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a significant upgrade from the Pro model's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.

The camera system appears impressive, featuring a 50MP main camera, an ultra-wide sensor, and a periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Laser autofocus and a triple LED flash further suggest Motorola's focus on camera capabilities.

Running Android 14, the Edge 50 Fusion is also rumored to include a 50MP main rear camera with an ultra-wide sensor, a 32MP front camera, and IP68 water and dust resistance. With 256GB of storage and a large 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging, the Edge 50 Fusion has the potential to be a competitive option in the smartphone market.
