MWC 2024: Tecno Launches Camon 30 Series With 50MP Primary Camera

Tecno has announced the Camon 30 series smartphones at the MWC 2024 event. The Camon 30 series comprises the Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, and the Camon 30 Pro 5G.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G

The Tecno Camon 30 Pro is the high-end model of the series, featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED Full HD+ (2436 1080 pixels) display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor.

For photography, the smartphone comes with a triple-rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary lens with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, the Tecno 30 Pro offers a 50MP camera sensor.

A 5000 mAh battery powers the Tecno 30 Pro that supports 70W fast charging The phone also features a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio and IR blaster on top.

Tecno Camon 30 5G

The Tecno Camon 30 5G has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard model comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. For cameras, the Tecno 30 includes a triple camera setup including a 50MP primary camera and a pair of sensors.

However, the smartphone features a 50MP front camera sensor with dual-LED flash. it packs the same 5,000 mAh battery unit with 70W fast charging support as the Pro model.

Tecno Camon 30

The Tecno Camon 30 4G offers the same set of specifications as the Camon 30 5G, except for the processor. The Tecno Camon 30 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor.

Tecno has also announced the Camon 30 Premier 5G smartphone which comes with the new Tecno PolarAce Imaging System. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 70W fast charging support.
