MWC 2025: GlocalMe Unveils Innovative Smartphone for Pets: PetPhone Aims to Elevate Communication with Pets

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 is currently showcasing a range of innovative products from global companies. Among these, GlocalMe has introduced a unique product called the PetPhone. This device, designed for pets, allows two-way communication between pets and their owners. It can recognise various pet actions like barking and includes features such as GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth tracking.

GlocalMe's PetPhone Features

GlocalMe's PetPhone is presented as a collar that can identify different sounds made by pets. This enables owners to monitor their pet's mood and communicate with them using PawTalk and sound play features. The device also offers live location tracking through GPS, AGPS, LBS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an Active Radar feature.

Marketed as the "first smartphone for pets," the PetPhone includes activity monitoring and AI active alerts. The PawTrack feature allows owners to trace their pet's route with ease. Additionally, the geofence function sends alerts if a pet leaves its designated safe area. An inbuilt light helps locate pets in the dark, while a ringtone feature plays audible sounds.

Community and Compatibility

Pet owners can join a social community to share experiences and create profiles for their pets. These profiles can include details like pet information, health advice, service plans, and device data. Owners can also set reminders for routine activities and play music to soothe their pets.

The PetPhone is designed for worldwide use, being compatible in over 200 countries. It supports CloudSIM technology and has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
