MWC 2026: Meet the Honor Magic V6, An Incredibly Slim Foldable with Insanely Powerful Specifications
Honor opens MWC 2026 with the Honor Magic V6 foldable, which targets the top flagship segment. The device debuts with both IP68 and IP69 ingress protection, a first for any foldable phone. It pairs this rating with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, triple rear cameras and a 6,660mAh Si-C battery.
Honor Magic V6 Foldable Display and Design
The Honor Magic V6 also focuses on premium visuals and input. The inner screen is a 7.95-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED panel with 2,172 x 2,352px resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate. Both inner and cover displays support stylus input and house 20MP selfie cameras, aimed at video calls and social use.

The main 7.95-inch display on the Honor Magic V6 uses reinforced ultra-thin glass. Honor claims the crease depth drops by 44 percent compared with earlier models, which should help the centre line appear less visible. An added anti-reflection layer aims to aid outdoor use, and peak local brightness reaches up to 5,000 nits.
The cover screen on the Honor Magic V6 measures 6.52 inches and also uses LTPO 2.0 technology. It offers FHD+ resolution and a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. Brightness on this outer panel goes up to 6,000 nits peak local, which supports viewing under strong sunlight.
Honor Magic V6 Performance and Cameras
Inside, the Honor Magic V6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It ships with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, targeting heavy multitasking and gaming. On the rear, the phone carries three cameras, led by a 50MP main sensor with f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilisation.
The second rear camera on the Honor Magic V6 is a 64MP periscope telephoto unit with a 70mm equivalent focal length. It uses a 1/2-inch sensor and supports 3x optical zoom for portraits and distant scenes. A 50MP ultrawide camera completes the trio, handling landscape shots and tight spaces.
Honor Magic V6 Durability, Software, Battery
Honor highlights the Honor Magic V6 hinge and protection as key upgrades. The new Super Steel Hinge uses what Honor describes as the strongest commercially available steel. Internal testing rates it for up to 500,000 folds and unfolds. Despite this focus on strength, the phone keeps both IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
Software on the Honor Magic V6 is MagicOS 10, which is based on Android 16. Honor promises 7 major Android upgrades for the device. Honor Connect gains expanded cross-platform tools, including two-way notification syncing with iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Mac users can share files easily and use the Magic V6 main screen as a secondary display.
The battery system in the Honor Magic V6 uses a 6,660mAh Si-C pack with 25 percent silicon content and 921Wh/L energy density. Charging supports 80W wired and 66W wireless speeds, along with reverse wireless charging. These features aim to keep the foldable active through long workdays or travel without frequent top-ups.
The physical profile of the Honor Magic V6 stays slim for a foldable. When folded, the device measures 8.75mm thick, matching the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The white model weighs 219 grams, which is lighter than that iPhone. When opened flat, the body thickness drops to only 4mm, emphasising portability.
