Xiaomi Smartphone Gets Certified With 66W Fast Charging

The alleged Xiaomi smartphones that cleared certification from 3C were listed with M2001J1E and M2001J1C model numbers. The 3C website listing suggests support for 5G connectivity along with 11V/6A charging (up to 66W). It is worth mentioning that currently, it's the Oppo Reno Ace that offers a 65W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.

If the 3C listing is correct, then Xiaomi will definitely take a lead on Oppo with its upcoming fast charging technology. Also, Xiaomi has already introduced a 100W Super Charge Turbo technology recently for the masses.

However, the company is yet to equip this feature in its smartphones. Some reports previously suggested its availability in 2020, but no specific date has been revealed. The 3C listing also suggests Xiaomi smartphones with model number M2001J2E and M2001J2C to offer 5G connectivity.

However, unlike the aforementioned variants, these two are said to come with up to 30W fast charging. The above-mentioned devices are expected to be the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro which Xiaomi is said to unveil at the MWC 2020.

It is worth noting that apart from the fast charging and 5G connectivity, no other hardware feature has been suggested by the 3C website listing. The Chinese giant is now gearing up to launch its value flagship smartphone - the Mi Note 10 in India.

The company has already teased the device with a 108MP penta-rear camera. The smartphone has already gone official with a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch.

The display incorporates a fingerprint scanner and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass layer on top. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 730G chipset based on 8nm architecture paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB native storage.

We are waiting for Xiaomi to announce its official arrival in India and will keep you posted on the same.
