New Android 10-based One UI Beta Rolling Out To Samsung Galaxy S10 Series

Samsung has started rolling out its latest Android 10-based One UI 2.0 beta 4 update to its Galaxy S10, S10+, and the S10e smartphones. The update has greatly fixed the bugs related to screen Flickr and disappearance of always-on display when charging. The update is sized around 2GB and is available as a beta update. Hence, it will take some time to reach the users after the bugs are completely fixed.

The interested users can enroll for the One UI 2.0 beta program from the Samsung Members app. Following which you can advance towards the Software update section in the Settings menu of your phones and eventually download the One UI 2.0 update. The new UI has added Google navigation gestures which are similar as we see for the iPhones. All you have to do is to swipe up from the bottom of the display to go to the home screen. And while swiping up and hold, the multitasking menu will pop out.

The new UI comes with a new camera interface. There will no longer be camera modes placed above the shutter button. And every mode, other than Photo, Video, Live Focus, and Live Focus video, is now included in the More section. You can also find four buttons while zooming in and out in the camera, which lets you switch between different zooming levels.

The One UI 2.0 has a new screen recording feature will record everything being paired up with the microphone. Also, using the new feature you can add a selfie feed while recording the screen.

The beta update comes with new animations. It includes redesigned volume control buttons and has new edge lighting effects. Furthermore, the UI has a trash section for the contacts app. The trash section can be used to restore the deleted contacts within 15 days. Lastly, it comes with the new calculator app using which you can now change time and speed units.
