New JioBook laptop arriving in India on July 31: Officially teased on Amazon

The JioBook was unveiled in India back in October as the company's first-ever laptop. The JioBook debuted as an affordable laptop, which ran on an Android-based operating system and used a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

Now, Reliance is set to unveil an all-new JioBook laptop in India. And unlike the last JioBook, the upcoming model will run on JioOS. So here's what we know about the successor to the first Jio laptop.

JioBook Launch Date in India

The new JioBook laptop launch in India is set for July 31. The upcoming JioBook has already been teased on Amazon India with the tagline, "Your ultimate learning partner', the all-new JioBook is arriving on July 31.

The original JioBook, unveiled in October 2022, featured a sub-20K price tag, and was only offered through the Reliance Digital store. As of now, pricing of the JioBook's successor is still under wraps, although it will likely debut around the same price range. Moreover, it also appears that the new JioBook will be sold through Amazon as well.

JioBook: What we know so far?

The Amazon teased shows the new JioBook in a blue shade. It also reveals the Jio logo on the lid and a compact form factor. The dedicated page shows that the JioBook is designed for play, entertainment, and productivity.

The new JioBook is also expected to feature an octa-core chip and will deliver all-day battery life. Additionally, the notebook will also be able to multitask between apps, run learning software, and handle HD videos. The new Jio laptop is also expected to feature a webcam up front for video calls.

The new JioBook is also touted to weigh less than a kilo, coming in at 990 grams, which is 200 grams lighter than its predecessor. Moreover, it will also support 4G connectivity. Additionally, the laptop will run JioOS, which is expected to offer a user-friendly interface and is well-optimized for learning and delivering smooth performance.
