POCO has started teasing the launch of a new F series smartphone in India. While the brand confirms the arrival through its official social media handles, the exact name of the device is still under wraps. However, it is believed that the brand is hinting at none other than the POCO F7.

A dedicated microsite for the upcoming POCO F series phone has gone live on Flipkart, confirming its availability. The brand also highlighted the legacy of its F series, which began with the POCO F1 in 2018, followed by the F3 GT, POCO F4 in 2022, POCO F5 in 2023, and the recent POCO F6 in 2024.

Given this, it's clear that the brand is hinting at the arrival of the next-generation POCO F7. The teaser also carries the tagline: "The legacy continues - bolder, sharper, and more unapologetic than ever."

POCO F7 India Launch Date (Expected)

While the launch date is yet to be officially confirmed, a recent report suggests that the global debut of the POCO F7 is expected between June 17 and June 19. The Indian launch is likely to take place around the same time. If this turns out to be true, we expect the brand will soon confirm the same.

POCO F7 Specifications - What to Expect?

The POCO F7 is expected to be the rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which recently made its debut in China. Given that, we expect the POCO F7 will likely have a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1,280×2,800 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-bright 3,200 nits peak brightness. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

For optics, the POCO F7 is expected to offer a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS, EIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The phone may also pack a 7,550mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
