New Smartphone Brand Coming Soon! Fire-Boltt Could Shake up India’s Budget Smartphone Segment
Fire-Boltt, one of India's leading smartwatch brands, is reportedly preparing to enter the smartphone market. According to a report by Smartprix in collaboration with tipster Yogesh Brar, the company is working on a range of affordable smartphones that will be launched under a new sub-brand called "Boltt."
The move marks a major expansion for Fire-Boltt, which has built a strong presence in the wearables and audio segments. The brand reportedly held a 9.7% share of India's smartwatch market in 2025, making it the third-largest player in the category.

Fire-Boltt Boltt Smartphones: India Launch Timeline
The first Boltt smartphones could debut in India as early as July, according to the report. While Fire-Boltt has not officially confirmed the launch date, sources suggest the company may unveil the new smartphone lineup and sub-brand simultaneously.
Fire-Boltt Boltt Smartphones: Expected Price in India
Fire-Boltt is expected to target the budget smartphone segment with aggressive pricing. The report claims all upcoming Boltt smartphones will be priced below Rs 20,000.
This would place the devices in direct competition with popular offerings from Xiaomi, realme, POCO, Motorola, Samsung, and Lava in the affordable smartphone category.
Fire-Boltt Boltt Smartphones: Expected Specifications and Features
Unlike many new entrants that start with a single device, Fire-Boltt is reportedly planning to launch two or three smartphone models initially.
According to the leak, all upcoming Boltt smartphones will be powered by Unisoc chipsets, indicating a focus on delivering reliable performance at affordable prices. While detailed specifications remain under wraps, the devices are expected to target first-time smartphone buyers and budget-conscious users.
Why Fire-Boltt's Smartphone Entry Matters
Entering India's smartphone market is challenging, especially amid rising component costs and intense competition. However, Fire-Boltt already has a well-established retail network, strong brand recognition, and experience in selling consumer electronics across the country.
If the company adopts the same value-for-money strategy that helped it gain traction in the smartwatch segment, the upcoming Boltt smartphones could become interesting contenders in India's crowded sub-Rs 20,000 smartphone market.
