Earlier this month, OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 4.5.8 update to its current flagship OnePlus 5. The update has brought fixes for the camera shutter bug in silent mode, occasional stutters while playing games, battery drain for Jio users, and occasional sound leaks in the speakers while using earphones.

Other than that, the latest OxygenOS update has also added some new features. Most importantly, EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) was added to the smartphone for providing the 4K video recording support. The lack of EIS in the smartphone at the time of the launch disappointed many customers. After two months of waiting the users have finally got access to the said feature.

Now, OnePlus has released a video showing off the EIS ability of the OnePlus 5's camera. The video basically displays how much video recording has improved because of the update. Well, as you can see for yourself, the video recording ability has been improved to a great extent. The video shows a Dachshund puppy running around.

As we all know the OnePlus 5 sports a 16MP+20MP dual rear camera setup. The main camera includes a 16MP sensor and has an f/1.7 aperture. The camera can capture up to 34 percent more light than OnePlus 3T's camera and it also takes better images in low-light conditions.

The other camera which includes a 20MP sensor comes with a telephoto lens. OnePlus 5 also offers modes like portrait mode and also offers 2X zoom capability. The company said that users can also zoom 8X on the new OnePlus 5 smartphone.
