Next Generation Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air to Launch on December 23

The laptop might have support for 4G LTE.

    Earlier this year, Xiaomi, the Apple of East launched their first ever laptop, the Mi Notebook Air in China. Unfortunately, the laptop didn’t make its way to India. And today, Xiaomi on their Weibo handle teased that the next generation Mi Notebook Air will be launched on December 23.

    Having said that, there are no features officially mentioned in the teaser, but going by the previous leaks and rumors, it is widely expected that the laptop will feature 4G VoLTE support, which means that it will come with a SIM card slot.

    This news came out with the first Mi Notebook Air as well. But, Xiaomi did not include that feature. Although, it is still unknown on what the upcoming laptop will be called. Also, there won’t be any significant upgrades to the product as well.

    The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air comes in two display models: 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models and both of them went out with only Full HD display version. So, there is some small possibility that Xiaomi will include a Quad HD display on the upcoming variant. But, this is just our assumption.

    Xiaomi is preparing for the launch event on December 23 in China, but we don’t have any information on what other will be launched alongside the new Mi Notebook Air. With the launch date nearing, there will be rumors floating around the internet. We will keep you updated if there is any news related to the event.
