It is already known fact that Google is working on two new Nexus smartphones for the year 2016 dubbed as the Nexus Sailfish and Nexus Marlin. Both the smartphones are manufactured by HTC and Google might release them in September along with Android 7.0 Nougat. Today, a new leak from AnTuTu Benchmarking reveals that the Nexus Marlin will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display which might be an AMOLED panel. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset with support for Adreno 530 GPU for handling graphic intensive tasks. The leaked AnTuTu Benchmark smartphone is running Android Nougat Manufacturer Release (NMR1). It is quite surprising that both the 2016 Nexus smartphones will be using the same chipset- the Snapdragon 820, as per the latest GFXBench report of the Nexus Sailfish. The smartphone might arrive with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, however, Google might release a higher end variant of the smartphone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The smartphone is also expected to come with USB Type-C port, bottom firing speaker on the bottom and the fingerprint sensor will be located in the same place. Both the Marlin and Sailfish will feature a 12MP camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, which is same as last year's Nexus 5X and 6P. Google is still keeping the things wrapped and gearing up for the launch. That said, there is no official word from Google regarding the launch of both smartphones.
