Nokia 2.3 Color Variants, Price Tipped Ahead of December 5 Launch

HMD Global is said to launch three new smartphones on December 5 - the Nokia 2.3, Nokia 5.2, and the Nokia 8.2. The Nokia 2.3 is an affordable variant in the upcoming lot. Recently, the device was spotted online along with some of the key specifications. Now, its pricing has been suggested ahead of the launch. Following are the details:

Nokia 2.3 Expected Pricing

The Nokia 2.3 pricing has been spotted on a Chilean store listing. A report from NPU suggests CLP($) 97,378 price tag for the Charcoal color variant. This roughly translates Rs. 8,505.87 in India. The other color options suggested are Cyan Green and Sand colors.

It is worth mentioning that the Nokia 2.2 was launched earlier this year under Rs. 10,000 price bucket. And HMD Global has also slashed its price recently. This suggests an imminent launch in the Indian market as well. However, there has been no date suggested for the launch of the Nokia 2.3 in India.

Nokia 2.3 Expected Specifications And Features

The Nokia 2.3 is likely to bring some noticeable upgrades over its predecessor. The smartphone is probably going to be equipped with a 6.1-inch display with an HD+ resolution. The display is said to get a 2.5D curved tempered glass protection.

At its core, a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset is likely to be the brain of operations. The handset is speculated to come with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. As of now, it is unknown if the company will introduce multiple RAM and storage configuration of the Nokia 2.3.

For imaging, Nokia 2.3 will offer a single 13MP camera at the rear. Up front, there could be 5MP snapper for selfies and video calling. While the majority of brands are offering at least a dual-lens camera setup under Rs. 10,000, a single lens setup on the Nokia 2.3 sounds dated.

The smartphone is likely to offer standard connectivity options such as VoLTE, dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port. Keeping everything in check is likely to be a 3,900 mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
