Nokia 6 has just received a new variant in India. Priced at Rs. 16,999, the smartphone's new variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. HMD Global has announced that the 4GB model will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart staring from February 20. There will be some launch offers like; customers will get extra Rs. 2,000 off on exchange on the smartphone.
Apart from the RAM and internal storage, rest of the specs remain the same on the new variant of Nokia 6. To recall, the smartphone was originally launched in India in June last year. It carried 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage option. Priced at Rs. 14,999, the 3GB model is exclusively available on Amazon. Presumably, HMD has launched the 4GB variant of Nokia 6 to take on the upcoming Moto Z2 Force.

Design and display
The Nokia 6 comes with a metal unibody with impressive structural quality. As claimed by HMD, the smartphone is crafted out of 6000 series of aluminum.
It sports a 5.5-inch full HD with display a screen resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels. The display is covered by a 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection.
Under the hood, the Nokia 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The smartphone now comes in two memory variants; one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and another with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
The smartphone is backed by a non-removable 3,000mAh battery which can last for a day on a single charge with moderate usage.
Software and cameras
While the Nokia 6 was launched with Android Nougat, the smartphone now runs on Android Oreo operating system.
Coming to the optics part, the smartphone is equipped with a 16MP phase detection autofocus rear camera for sharp detailed pictures and an 8MP front camera. The f/2.0 aperture lenses and exclusive camera UI with automatic scene detection make it easy to take great shots every time.
In addition to all these, the Nokia 6 ships with dual amplifiers that deliver 6dB louder sound than a regular amp, giving higher voice, deeper bass, and unmatched clarity. While it comes with the Dolby Atmos, the smartphone creates powerful moving audio that seems to flow all around users.
