Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco now up for sale in India
Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco are part of the Android One programme and run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco were launched in India earlier this month. Priced at Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 49,999 respectively, the smartphones are now available for purchase in India. The Nokia 7 Plus can be bought from Amazon India, whereas the Nokia 8 Sirocco is available on Flipkart. However, customers can get both models from Nokia Shop as well as offline retail stores across the country.
The Nokia 7 Plus comes in Black Copper and White Copper colors. The Nokia 8 Sirocco, on the other hand, is only available in Shiny Black color. Both the smartphones are part of the Android One programme and run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
Nokia 7 Plus
The Nokia 7 Plus is fitted with a 6-inch full HD + 18:9 with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. For software, it runs on Android Oreo OS. HMD claims the smartphone is built from a single block of aluminum.
On the optics front, the Nokia 7 Plus is equipped with a vertically arranged dual rear cameras from Zeiss. The camera setup includes a Telephoto lens. The rear camera module also comes with a new Pro Camera feature, new imaging suite and AI technology to modify the lighting conditions. What's more, the camera is capable of taking pictures in Portrait Mode.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
Nokia 8 Sirocco sports an edge-to-edge curved p-OLED 5.5" display Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for added protection. The handset is said to be built from a single block of stainless steel, providing more durability. It also carries the IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. With a width of just 7.5mm, the smartphone looks stunning. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage space.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 12MP wide-angle lens and 13MP Telephoto lens. There is a 5MP front camera as well. Software features for the cameras include Pro Camera and Dual-Sight "Bothie" Modes.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is equipped with a 3,260mAh battery with wireless charging support.
