Nokia 7 Plus press render leaked showing off full-screen design with minimal bezels
The Nokia 7 Plus is expected to get unveiled on February 25 in Barcelona, one day ahead of MWC 2018.
HMD Global is all set to unveil a slew of Nokia phones on this coming Sunday in Barcelona. The expected handsets include the flagship Nokia 9, Android Oreo (Go Edition) based Nokia 1, Nokia 7 Plus and the global variant of the Nokia 6 (2018). All these smartphones have appeared in numerous leaks, but the rumor mill seems to be really active with the Nokia 7 Plus.
A couple of days back, we came across a live photo of the Nokia 7 Plus. Yet again, a press render of the smartphone has popped up online. Popular tipster Evan Blass posted the image on his Twitter account, allowing us to take a good look at the smartphone. Well, the smartphone seems to feature an elongated display with narrower bezels. The selfie camera is placed on the upper bezel towards the right corner.
Since the Nokia 7 Plus doesn't feature a physical home button, the lower bezel is empty. On the right side, you can spot the power button and the volume rocker. Apart from that, on the top-right side, the Nokia branding is visible. Well, this is pretty much everything the leak reveals as only the front part of the smartphone is shown in the image.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nokia 7 Plus will reportedly come with a full-screen design with minimal bezels. The display is likely to be of 6 inches with an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Under the hood, the smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space, presumably further expandable using a microSD card. On the software front, the upcoming Nokia phone will most probably run on Android 8.0 Oreo OS right out of the box.
Interestingly, the Nokia 7 Plus is believed to be a dual camera smartphone with a dual camera setup at its back. The rear camera setup is said to be comprised of a 12MP sensor and a 13MP sensor from Zeiss.
We expect to see more leaks centering the smartphone in the following days before the official unveiling.
