Nokia 8.2 Leaked Specifications And Features

The Nokia 8.2 is said to come with a pop-up selfie camera setup housing a 32MP sensor, suggests a report from NokiaPowerUser. If this is true, then Nokia will also join the pop-up selfie camera bandwagon.

The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 735 chipset based on 7nm architecture. It will make use of a next-generation AI Engine which is said to improve gaming and overall performance. It will also be backed by 5G connectivity support.

The report suggests three different RAM and storage configurations - 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage, 6GB RAM+ 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage option. It is likely to ship with Android Q OS and come under the Android One program.

At the rear, the Nokia 8.2 is tipped to feature a quad-camera setup. While the primary sensor is speculated to be a 64MP sensor, the other sensors are undisclosed. But, looking at the recent trend, we can expect a telephoto sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a depth sensor.

As of now, HMD Global has not revealed any of the key specifications or the launch date of the Nokia 8.2 5G. It would be interesting to see by when the company launches the 5G smartphone and in which price bucket.

It is worth noting that HMD Global has another Nokia smartphone in the making as well. The Finnish giant is said to be working on a smartphone with a waterfall display similar to the recently launched Vivo Nex 3. The upcoming handset is also said to pack Penta-lens rear camera setup and come as a successor to the Nokia 9 PureView.
