Besides, the company is most likely gearing up to introduce the handset in the U.S. But there might be some surprise for the consumers. When HMD launched the device in London it came with a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. But that might be changing now.

Well, the smartphone has been spotted on the U.S. FCC site and the listing for the Nokia 8 seems to have been modified. Basically, the listing now confirms that the smartphone will be launched with more memory and storage. So we might be seeing another variant of Nokia 8 than the standard version that was unveiled earlier.

However, as per the listing, the company has added a 6GB RAM and 128GB of built-in storage variant for the consumers. And considering the U.S. FCC listing for Nokia 8 variants, the changes seem to have been made in devices with model numbers, TA-1004, and TA-1012. With the new changes to the smartphone, it all comes down to only one thing, the company is aiming to release an updated model of Nokia 8 when it hits the US market.

In addition to the memory and storage, the listing suggests that HMD will also provide support for ANT+ feature and WCDMA Band IV. And with these features, users will be able to do more as well as have a better experience with the device.

Meanwhile, HMD Global has been sending out invites for the India launch event of Nokia 8 which has been scheduled for next week. Notably, the smartphone will be launched on September 26 in New Delhi.
