Nokia phones now available for sale through its official website in India
While all Nokia phones (which have been launched in India) are listed on the website, not all them are available for purchase.
Nokia phones have always been a favorite among users in India. So we were more than delighted when HMD Global acquired the company and bought the license to launch smartphones under the Nokia brand for the next few years. The Finnish company didn't disappoint and launched several new Nokia phones at last year's MWC.
HMD Global again turned heads at MWC 2018 by launching a total of five smartphones. Out of the five, one is feature phone and the rest are smartphones. While the announcement is done, the newly launched Nokia phones will take a couple months to reach the Indian market. Meanwhile, HMD has opened its online mobile store in the country.
About the website
From now on, customers can purchase Nokia phones and accessories directly from the official website. Both smartphones and feature phones are available on the website. The good news is the website offers free shipping with all units. Further, there are secure payment options for customers. Besides this, 10-day return policy is there, which is "subject to seller terms."
Not all Nokia phones are available
While all Nokia phones (which have been launched in India) are listed on the website, not all them are available for purchase. Notably, the Nokia 6 is not available. However, the Nokia 2, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the Nokia 8 can be bought. Among feature phones, only the Nokia 8810 4G is not available for sale.
As stated, accessories like earphones, chargers, USB cables, and phone cases are listed on the website. However, all the listed accessories seem to be "out-of-stock."
The new Nokia phones
All the newly launched Nokia phones including the Nokia 8110 4G, Nokia 1, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco are listed on the website. However, since these phones are yet to launch in India, the buy option is not there.
As per the information we have obtained so far, the aforementioned Nokia phones will arrive in India around May or June. That said, some reports claim that the Nokia 1 India launch could happen in as early as April. In any case, we are still waiting for an official confirmation from HMD.
