Nothing Phone (2) Glyph Interface with Swedish House Mafia Sound Pack Teased

Nothing is gearing up to launch the Nothing Phone (2) in India and other markets in the coming month. The company has already started teasing the smartphone over the last few weeks, starting with the design and the charging cable. Now, the fresh new brand has revealed its second ever smartphone will come with a special Swedish House Mafia Glyph sound pack.

For those unaware, the Glyph interface is a set of LED lights at the back of the Nothing phone, which renders its unique identity. The Glyph interface can be programmed to light up in specific sequences in response to sounds, to notify users of incoming calls, notifications or while listening to music.

Nothing released a teaser video to showcase the new sound pack. The video also revealed some of the design elements of the smartphone.

Nothing Phone (2) Glyph Interface to Include Swedish House Mafia Music

The Nothing Phone (2) is rumoured to come with a revamped Glyph interface as compared to the Nothing Phone (1) launched last year. The smartphone brand has now collaborated with iconic DJ group Swedish House Mafia to bring an exclusive sound pack that works in tandem with the upgraded Glyph interface.

The company showcased the sound pack in a new teaser video. The video revealed that the Nothing Phone (2) will sport a flat design on both sides. However, the smartphone is likely to sport a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone has been confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Rumours suggest the phone will come with 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with 256GB and 512GB storage variants. This is likely to vary from region to region. However, the brand is likely to use last year LPDDR5 RAM modules along with UFS 3.1 storage modules.

The Nothing Phone (2) is rumoured to keep the same 4700mAh battery but will upgrade the charging speed from the previous 33W. It is also likely to retain the wireless and reverse wireless charging support.

As for the cameras, the Nothing Phone (1) is expected to come with two 50MP cameras, for wide and ultra-wide shots.

Nothing Phone (2) Pre orders go Live on Flipkart on June 29

The Nothing Phone (2) is set to launch on July 11 globally, including India. The company announced that pre-orders of the smartphone are set to begin on June 29 on Flipkart. Users can reserve a unit by paying a Rs 2,000 refundable deposit.

To sweeten the deal, Nothing is offering 50 percent off on the Ear (stick) and other Nothing accessories. There will also be cashback offers from banking partners.
