Nothing Phone (2) launch in India confirmed through Flipkart

Nothing recently teased the launch of its second smartphone in the US and the UK. The Nothing Phone (2) is arriving this summer and it will feature a 'premium' label, which means big upgrades over its predecessor. And now, we have confirmation that the Nothing Phone (2) is coming to India.

The Nothing Phone 2 launch date in India is set to take place in the coming months, corresponding with the global launch. The Phone (2) has been listed on Indian e-retailer Flipkart as "coming soon".

A dedicated page for the Nothing Phone (2) has also been set up on Flipkart. The page reiterates the 'premium' nature of the upcoming Nothing smartphone and confirms that it will use a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, with rumours pointing to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The addition of the new Snapdragon 8 series chip will make the Phone (2) a solid upgrade over the Snapdragon 778G+ chip on the Phone (1). However, this upgrade may also come at a cost. The Nothing Phone (2) price in India could fall anywhere between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000.

Nothing Phone 2 Design

The latest teaser from Nothing, suggests that the Phone (2) will feature the same transparent design formula as the Phone (1). However, the confirmation tweet also revealed a RED LED indicator and what appears to be a mute switch.

Nothing will also bring back the Glyph Interface offering new light patterns and sound effects. Nothing is yet to confirm other details about the Phone (2) but you can expect more information to be released and leaked out in the coming weeks.
