Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition Launched - Sale Starts on June 5

Nothing has unveiled a special edition of its Phone (2a) smartphone. This limited-edition model features the same transparent design as the original but with a vibrant splash of color.

Red, Yellow, and Blue Accents

The Phone (2a) Special Edition breaks away from the standard color options by incorporating vivid red, yellow, and blue accents across its white and grey back panel. This unique design celebrates primary colors and their role in Nothing's brand identity, as per the company's official press release.

Commenting on the design, Adam, Design Director at Nothing, said, "We are very happy to unveil Phone (2a) Special Edition. The first product to explore our palette of the primary colours; red, blue and yellow. Its overall aesthetic references some of our design heroes from the past, whilst creating a new expression for a smartphone. Elevating a functional device into a striking piece of art."

Limited Availability and Price

This special edition phone will be available in limited quantities and select regions, including India. Customers in India can purchase the Phone (2a) Special Edition starting June 5th on Flipkart for Rs 27,999. It comes in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Same Specs as the Regular Phone (2a)

Aside from the color scheme, the Phone (2a) Special Edition carries over the same specifications as the original model. To recall, the Nothing Phone (2a) features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset and runs on Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5.5. The phone offers various storage options, including 128GB with 8GB RAM, and 256GB with either 8GB or 12GB RAM.

Its dual rear camera setup includes two 50 MP sensors—one wide and one ultrawide—while the front camera is 32 MP. The device supports 5G, has stereo speakers, but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. It includes an under-display fingerprint sensor and is splash, water, and dust resistant with an IP54 rating. The 5000mAh battery supports 45W wired charging.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is now available in four colors: White, Black, the India-exclusive Blue, and the new Special Edition.
