Nothing Phone (2a) Launching on March 5: From Specs to Design, All You Need to Know Including Nothing Drops

Nothing is all set to launch the Nothing Phone (2a) on March 5. At the Mobile World Congress 2024, the company showcased the phone in its full glory.

Nothing has also announced the Nothing's #THE100 Drops, identifying the first places where you can buy the Nothing Phone (2a). Here is everything you should know about the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) and where you can buy the Nothing Phone (2a) in India.

Nothing's #THE100 Drops in India

Each location will offer a total of 100 devices on a first-come. With the purchase of the new Nothing Phone (2a), buyers can get an exclusive complimentary bundle including a custom Phone (2a) case and other exciting extras.

Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2a) will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting from March 6. In India, the #THE100 Drops events will take place -

Delhi: March 6, 5:00 PM at Select City Walk Mall, Saket
Hyderabad: March 7, 5:00 PM at Sarath City Capital Mall, Gachibowli
Bengaluru: March 8, 5:00 PM at Orion Mall, Rajajinagar
Mumbai: March 9, 5:00 PM at Phoenix Market City Mall, Kurla

The #THE100 Drops event will also be held in other countries like Dubai, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and more.

Nothing Phone (2a) Design & Features We Know So Far

The upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) follows the same tradition in terms of design; however, the dual rear cameras, positioned horizontally bring a different look. The smartphone was seen with flat edges with a matte finish. The volume buttons were spotted on the right spine of the phone, while the power button was seen on the left side.

The Nothing Phone (2a) will come with a plastic frame and a plastic back panel. There will be three Glyph light bars on the Nothing Phone (2a) paired with a couple of LED modules. The Phone (2a) will be offered in Black and White colour variants.

In terms of specifications, the device is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Nothing confirmed that the Phone (2a) will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The phone is said to offer a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP selfie camera. Other features are expected to include a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging, Nothing OS 2.5, and more.

As far as the price is concerned, the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) is tipped to come under the Rs 30,000 segment. It's better to take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement.
