Nothing Phone (2a) New Blue Edition Teased to Launch on April 29 in India; What to Expect?

Nothing launched the Phone (2a) last month in India. Now, the brand has started teasing the arrival of a new edition for the same. Flipkart's microsite has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2a) new edition is coming on April 29 at 12 PM IST. Here's what to expect from the new edition of the handset.

Nothing Phone (2a) New Blue Edition Coming on April 29

Nothing did not disclose anything regarding the new edition of the Phone (2a). However, it is expected to be a new Blue colour which is rumoured to come with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The new Blue edition will join the existing Black and White colour option.

Nothing Phone (2a) Blue Edition: What to Expect?

The Flipkart teaser shows the upcoming edition in a similar design as the Nothing Phone (2a). So, there is a chance it's just a new colour with the same set of specifications. The Nothing Phone (2a) is a mid-range offering with high-end features. It has a 6.78-inch FHD+ 10-bit AMOLED display, a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Nothing Phone (2a) also features the famed Glyph Interface with 26 individually addressable zones. Three LED lights surround the rear camera lens and are placed at the centre. The phone is equipped with a custom MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, claiming to deliver the best performance with optimal power consumption.

The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. For imaging, there is a dual rear camera setup which comprises a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) support, and another 50MP ultra-wide sensor with a 114-degree field of view. For selfies, the Nothing Phone (2a) gets a 32MP front-facing camera.

The price of the phone starts at Rs 23,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model, while the 12GB/256GB storage model costs Rs 27,999. Given that, we expect the new Blue edition could be priced at less than Rs 30,000.
