Nothing Phone 2a Plus Receives Android 15-Based Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta Update: What’s New?

Nothing has announced the global release of Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 1 for the Nothing Phone 2a Plus. This beta version allows users to explore new features before the full update is available later this month. Built on Android 15, it introduces visual enhancements across the user interface, including more customisation options for home and lock screens, along with redesigned clock widgets.

The latest update also brings improvements to the camera system. Users will experience reduced HDR processing times and faster launch speeds via the camera widget. Additionally, low-light performance has been enhanced, and there is a better display for the zoom slider. These enhancements aim to provide a more efficient photography experience.

With Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 1, users can directly edit their lock screen by long-pressing on it.
