Nothing Phone (3) Price Officially Teased by Carl Pei: Here’s What to Expect
Carl Pei is back in the headlines, and this time, it's all about the Nothing Phone (3). During a recent segment on The Android Show on YouTube, Pei confirmed that the upcoming flagship will carry a price tag of around £800 (~$1,063, ₹90,500).

Stepping into the Flagship Arena
This is a major leap for Nothing. With the Phone (2) launching at ₹44,999 in India, the Phone (3) marks a substantial price jump, signaling the company's intent to play in the big leagues. Pei didn't hold back during the video, emphasizing that the Nothing Phone (3) will bring premium materials and major performance upgrades.
Rumors are swirling about what these premium materials could be. There's talk of a titanium frame or reinforced glass, possibly even a ceramic back for added durability. Nothing's focus on design has always been its standout feature, and with Phone (3), it looks like they're aiming to elevate that experience even further.
Big Performance Upgrades Expected
While Pei kept the specifics under wraps, there are strong hints that the Phone (3) will come powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or a Dimensity 9400 or 9400+ chipset. Both are flagship-grade processors, promising improved speed, efficiency, and graphical performance.
One of the more interesting potential additions is a customizable Action Button. Much like Apple's approach with its iPhone series, this button could be mapped to quick actions like launching the camera, muting the phone, or even activating custom app shortcuts.
Enhanced AI Features with Nothing OS 3.0
Now, here's where things get interesting. While Nothing OS 3.0 is already out, Pei hinted that the Phone (3) would feature exclusive AI-driven enhancements.
Launch Timeline: Summer 2025 Release
Nothing is sticking to its well-established summer release cycle. The Phone (1) dropped in July 2022, followed by the Phone (2) in July 2023. Now, the Phone (3) is slated for a Q3 2025 launch, which means we're looking at a release window between July and September 2025.
This timing is strategic. Summer launches have worked well for Nothing, positioning its products just ahead of the heavy hitters like Samsung's Fold series and Apple's new iPhones. It seems Pei is sticking to what works, but with a clear ambition to take a bigger bite of the flagship pie.
