Nothing Phone (3a) Chipset Confirmed Ahead of Official Launch on March 4
Nothing is all set to launch the Phone (3a) series smartphones on March 4 at the MWC 2025 event. Following the launch, the next-gen (3a) series is confirmed to be available via Flipkart in India, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live. Moreover, the brand has been gradually revealing its design and specs. Now, the brand confirms the processor of the upcoming smartphone.
Nothing Phone (3a) Processor Confirmed
Nothing took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to confirm the Phone 3a series will be powered by the Snapdragon processor. Nothing CEO Carl Pei says - "I'm happy to announce that we are going back to the Qualcomm Snapdragon series with the Phone (3a). Compared to the Phone (2a) Plus it's going to have 25% faster CPU, and a 72% faster MPU".

While the brand hasn't shared the exact name, it will reportedly be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. This would be an upgrade over its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2a) which came with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC.
Nothing Phone (3a): What We Know So Far
The Nothing Phone (3a) series is most likely to include at least two models -- Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro. Leaks and rumours suggest the Phone (3a) series will have a 50MP triple camera system including a telephoto lens-a first for Nothing.
It may pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. On the front, it's tipped to sport a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Nothing also hints at the inclusion of a new button on the Phone 3a series. While its function is still unknown, it's anticipated to be a dedicated camera shutter which will help users capture photos quickly with a single press. Moreover, the Phone (3a) series is rumoured to come with an upgraded Glyph Interface.
Since all are speculations, we'd suggest our readers take this with a pinch of salt and stay tuned with us for all the latest information surrounding the Nothing Phone (3a) series.
