Nothing has officially unveiled the Nothing Phone (3a) in India, bringing refined design, AI-powered features, and an improved camera system to its growing smartphone lineup.
Positioned as the successor to the Phone (2a), the Phone (3a) introduces a telephoto lens, a new Essential button, and Ultra XDR display technology co-developed with Google.

The Nothing Phone (3a) is priced at ₹24,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and is available in Black, White, and Blue color options.

The device will go on first sale starting from March 11 in India, launching alongside its higher-end counterpart, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.

Camera Upgrades
The Nothing Phone (3a) now features a triple-camera system, a notable upgrade from its predecessor. The setup includes:
- 50MP primary camera with improved AI processing
- 50MP telephoto lens for better zoom capabilities
- 8MP ultra-wide lens for broader shots
- 32MP front camera for sharper selfies
The camera system is powered by TrueLens Engine 3.0, an AI-based enhancement that optimizes color accuracy and scene detection. Super Moon Mode and Ultra XDR technology bring improvements to low-light photography and dynamic range.
Essential Button and AI-Powered Features

A new Essential button, located on the bottom right side of the device, offers quick access to:
- Essential Space, an AI-powered content hub for organizing notes and ideas
- Instant voice recording
- Customizable shortcuts for frequently used functions
This new addition aims to streamline user interaction, making productivity and content sharing more seamless.
Nothing Phone (3a) Specifications
The Nothing Phone (3a) features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth performance.
It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, delivering efficient processing power. The phone is equipped with a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while a 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging. It runs on Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15, with a promise of three years of OS updates and six years of security patches.
Other notable features include the Glyph Interface, IP64-rated dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers, and NFC with Google Pay support, making it a well-rounded mid-range smartphone.
