Nothing Phone 4a Series Launch Timeline Tipped Following Recent Global Certification

Nothing is gearing up to unveil its first smartphone in India soon. The Nothing Phone (4a) series is expected to make its debut in first quarter of 2026. Ahead of the launch, the vanilla Nothing 4a was recently spotted on UAE's TDRA certification platform.

The handset was spotted by tipster Anvin (@ZionsAnvin), with the certification dated January 22, 2026. It carries the model number A069 and equipment registration number ER55923/06. The listing only labels the device as a "smartphone" and does not disclose any specifications or explicitly confirm the Nothing Phone (4a) branding.

This comes after the same model number surfaced on the IMEI certification database in September, indicating that the device is expected to launch across multiple markets. As of now there is no concrete information about the specifications of the Nothing Phone 4a series, but here's what we know so far.

Nothing Phone 4a Series: What we Know so Far!

According to previous leaks, the Nothing Phone 4a could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, while the 'Pro' model is expected to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Moreover, the phones will also feature upgraded UFS 3.1 storage.

The Nothing Phone 4a series could also mark the return of the Glyph Interface after it was skipped on the Nothing Phone 3 (Review). The Nothing Phone 4a series is also expected to feature a triple rear camera system, although details about the sensors are still under wraps.

Separately, tipster Yogesh Brar had reported in October that Nothing plans to introduce the Phone (4a) series in Q1 2026, suggesting an announcement could take place by March. As per the listing, model A069 refers to the standard Phone (4a), while A069B is believed to be the Phone (4a) Pro, following the naming pattern used for the Phone (3a) lineup.

We expect the Nothing Phone 4a series to get a price hike over the Nothing Phone 3a series. The Nothing Phone 4a will likely debut in India's sub-30K segment, while the Nothing Phone 4a Pro price in India could start from under Rs 40,000.
