Nothing’s First CMF Branded Phone Could Be the Company’s Cheapest Device
Nothing's CMF seems to be launching its first-ever smartphone dubbed the Phone (1) soon in India. The smartphone is expected to be more affordable compared to the Nothing phones. The latest development brings a few specifications and a possible price for the upcoming CMF Phone (1). Let's dive into the details.
CMF Phone (1) Launch Likely Soon
The latest information shared by 91mobiles (citing an industry source) reveals that the CMF will soon enter into the smartphone category by launching its first phone - CMF Phone (1).

The CMF Phone (1) is likely to come with a plastic body, hinting at an entry-level phone. It might feature a 6.5-inch display with Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is expected to come in orange, white and black colour options.
The report further states the CMF Phone (1) could run Nothing OS but some features won't be available. It is also said to ship with three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. The device might pack a 5000 mAh battery unit with 33W charging support.
Moreover, the CMF Phone (1) is speculated to get a single rear camera and a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset. Apart from this, nothing more is known at this moment. However, the report suggests the phone could be priced at around Rs 12,000 in India. Given that, the CMF Phone (1) is expected to be the brand's cheapest device.
As of now, the Nothing Phone (2a) is the most affordable phone from the brand priced at Rs 23,999. Since the CMF phone's price will be half of the Nothing phone, the brand will also cut down on some features. It remains to be seen how it will compete with the other smartphones in the same segment. Brands like Realme, Redmi, and POCO now offer power-packed features at even affordable price tags.
