Nubia to unveil a new bezel-less smartphone on October 12th in China

    Recently we have been hearing a lot about a new Nubia device. While the smartphone has been doing rounds on the rumor mill for quite some time now, it was evident that the company was soon going to launch a new device in the market.

    And it looks like it is going to happen on October 12. Nubia has now started sending out media invites for a press event that is scheduled for the earlier mentioned date. The event will be happening in China.

    Unfortunately, the invite does not give away which smartphone the company is actually launching. One thing that we can make out from the invite is that we can see the glowing rectangle or full-screen silhouette supposedly of a handset with the event date below the silhouette.

    As far as speculations go, Nubia is expected to launch the Z17s which has also been doing rounds on the internet for some time now. This smartphone has been reported to be the first full-screen handset from the manufacturer.

    Nubia Z17s also appeared on TENAA and most of the key details already been revealed. Besides, just to recall, the device as per the listing has a 5.73-inch display on the front with full HD resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is coming with 2GHz octa-core processor which seems to be paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

    In terms of optics, Nubia Z17s will likely sport a dual 13-megapixel camera on the rear along with dual tone LED flash. Up front, there will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The listing further revealed that the smartphone is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and is powered by a 3100mAh battery.
