It is still not clear if the OLED iPhone line-up will be named iPhone 8 or iPhone X but it is quite certain that an OLED smartphone is in-fact lined up. The new report states that OLED iPhone will start at a price point of $999 and a higher version may retail at $1099.

It has also been reported lately that the premium iPhone version will have the least storage capacity of 64GB while a 512GB model may also be introduced.

With Samsung Galaxy Note 8 already launched bearing a price tag of $1000, it is quite certain that iPhone's OLED model will not cost anything less. Moreover, Apple has reportedly incorporated several new features on the device which includes a 3D face recognition unlock, fingerprint sensor behind the display, OLED screen, and wireless charging. All these features will certainly take up the price of the device.

As far as the regional variation in the prices of the device is concerned, U.K. is believed to get a price factor corresponding to US dollars. India, on the other hand, might witness an exorbitantly expensive iPhone shipping in the country.
