OnePlus 12 5G Design, Colors, Memory Configurations, Confirmed Ahead of Launch

The OnePlus 12 5G is all set to make its debut next week. The OnePlus 12 5G will be the first smartphone by the brand to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform.

OnePlus has been gradually teasing details about its upcoming flagship in the build up to its launch. And the latest teaser confirms the color options and design of the OnePlus 12 5G.

The OnePlus 12 5G launch date is set for December 5 in China at 02:30 pm local time or 12 noon IST. The OnePlus 12 5G launch event will take place a day after the company's 10th anniversary celebration.

Pre-reservations for the OnePlus 12 5G can be made through JD.com and the official online store. While there is no official date, reports suggests that the OnePlus 12 5G launch date in India and globally could take place on January 23, 2024.

According to the official OnePlus website in China, the OnePlus 12 5G will arrive in Green, Rock Black, and White (Translated - Leave Blank) color options. The listings of the phone also confirm a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and a curved display with narrow bezels.

On the back, the OnePlus 12 5G's features a circular camera layout with the Hasselblad logo in the middle. The official images reveal the design of the OnePlus 12 5G is similar to that of its predecessor, the OnePlus 11 5G.

However, the biggest change on the OnePlus 12 5G is the position of the Alert Slider, which is now shifted to the left side. The move will make room for a new antenna system to elevate the gaming experience on the device.

The listing also confirms that the OnePlus 12 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The OnePlus 12 5G will run on Android 14 with OxygenOS on top.

The listing also confirms the OnePlus 12 5G will feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony LYTIA LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS support. The main camera is paired with a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto unit with OIS support, and 50 MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide shooter. Up front, the OnePlus 12 5G will likely feature a 32 MP selfie camera.

The OnePlus 12 5G will also feature a 2K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The LTPO panel will boast a 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus 12 5G is also expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless fast charging support.
