The OnePlus 12 5G is set to make its debut later today. The big launch comes a day after OnePlus celebrated its 10th anniversary. But before we dive into the details, here's a look at all the smartphones expected to make their debut this month.

The OnePlus 12 5G will be the first smartphone from the brand to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Apart from the chipset, OnePlus has revealed several other aspects of the OnePlus 12 5G in the build up to the launch.

The OnePlus 12 5G launch event will take place later today in China at 02:30 pm local time or 12 noon IST. The OnePlus 12 launch will be livestreamed on the company's official Weibo handle or its official website.

While there is no official launch date yet, recent reports have suggested that the OnePlus 12 5G launch date in India and globally will take place on January 24, 2024.

The OnePlus 12 5G price in China will likely start from the Rs 50,000 mark. We expect the OnePlus 12 5G price in India to fall between Rs 60,000 - Rs 70,000. OnePlus has already confirmed nearly all the specifications of its upcoming flagship.

The OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. OnePlus has already confirmed that its upcoming flagship will feature a 2K LTPO Curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a whopping peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

The panel has already received an A+ rating by DisplayMate and has broken several records. The OnePlus 12 5G is also expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless fast charging support. The OnePlus 12 5G will run Android 14 out of the box with the latest version of ColorOS in China.

OnePlus 12 5G Cameras

The phone will feature a 50 MP Sony LYTIA LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS. The main camera will be paired with a 64 MP Omnivision O64B telephoto-periscope camera with a focal length of 70mm, OIS, and 3x optical zoom and a 48 MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide lens.
