OnePlus 12 Glacial White Edition Launching in India on June 6: What to Expect?

OnePlus is releasing a new color variant for its flagship smartphone in India. The OnePlus 12 5G was initially introduced in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black color options in the country. However, the OnePlus 12 5G was also introduced in a White Space shade in China.

Now, it appears that the company is bringing this new White Space shade for the OnePlus 12 5G in India. However, OnePlus is calling this new shade Glacial White in India.

OnePlus 12 Glacial White: What to Expect?

The OnePlus 12 Glacial White model is launching in India on June 6, 2024. However, the Glacial White version of the OnePlus 12 5G will be offered for a limited period.

In its release, OnePlus noted, "Drawing inspiration from the stunning beauty and resilience of glaciers, it offers the perfect fusion of serenity and power. The Glacial White edition of the OnePlus 12 (Review) features a sleek, contemporary design that seamlessly integrates powerful functionality with sophisticated aesthetics."

The OnePlus 12 Glacial White edition will set you back Rs 64,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model and Rs 69,999 for the top-end 16GB/512GB configuration. Customers can get an additional exchange bonus up to Rs 12,000 as well as a Rs 2,000 discount using OneCard, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, IDFC First Bank, and Bank of Baroda cards.

OnePlus 12 5G Specifications

The OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will feature a new and improved cooling system made with Aerospace-grade material and a 10,000mm2 heat dissipation aera. The OnePlus 12 5G runs Android 14 out of the box with OxygenOS 14 on top.

The OnePlus 12 5G sports a 6.82-inch 2K Pro-XDR BOE X1 OLED display. The panel features LTPO 3.0 technology for an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate (1Hz - 120Hz) and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen boasts a pixel density of 510 PPI and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The display supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

For optics, the OnePlus 12 5G features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony LYTIA LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is paired with a 64 MP Omnivision O64B telephoto-periscope sensor with a focal length of 70mm, OIS, and 3x optical zoom and a 48 MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide shooter.

All three cameras are fine-tuned in collaboration with Hasselblad. Up front, the OnePlus 12 5G opts for a 32 MP selfie camera. The flagship OnePlus smartphone also packs a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The phone also packs dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
