OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R Launch Date in India Confirmed: How to Book Event Tickets?

OnePlus recently confirmed the official date for its upcoming flagship launch event in India. The headliner for the event will undoubtedly be the OnePlus 12 5G, which was unveiled in China earlier this month.

Apart from its flagship smartphone, the company will also unveil the OnePlus 12R and other products at the event. The upcoming OnePlus event is titled "Smooth Beyond Belief".

OnePlus 12 Launch Event: All you Need to Know!

The OnePlus 12 launch event in India will take place on January 23 at 05:30 pm (IST). The event will be hosted at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Moreover, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R will also be showcased at the event, where attendees will have a chance to experience the latest OnePlus flagships.

Fans of the brands can purchase community tickets for the event will be available on OnePlus India's official website or PayTM Insider. Additionally, Red Cable Club members will be able to avail a 50-percent discount on tickets through the OnePlus website.

OnePlus has yet to reveal pricing of the tickets. OnePlus will also be celebrating its 10th anniversary during the global launch, so expect some exciting offers or early-bird discounts. To recall, the OnePlus 12 5G was unveiled in China earlier this month, while the OnePlus 12R will be rebranded as the OnePlus Ace 3 in China.

OnePlus 12 5G Specifications

The OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The OnePlus 12 5G runs Android 14 out of the box with OxygenOS on top. The flagship OnePlus smartphone also packs a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

The OnePlus 12 5G sports a 6.82-inch 2K Pro-XDR BOE X1 OLED display. The panel features LTPO 3.0 technology for an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate (1Hz - 120Hz) and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen boasts a pixel density of 510 PPI and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits as well as Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.

For optics, the OnePlus 12 5G features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony LYTIA LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is paired with a 64 MP Omnivision telephoto-periscope sensor with a focal length of 70mm, OIS, and 3x optical zoom and a 48 MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide shooter.

All three cameras are fine-tuned by Hasselblad. Up front, the OnePlus 12 5G opts for a 32 MP selfie camera. The OnePlus 12 price in China starts from CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs 50,700) for the base 12GB/256GB model.
