OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition Launched in India at Rs 49,999: Here’s What’s in the Box

OnePlus recently unveiled a new special edition of its 12R smartphone in India. The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition arrives in India with a ton of goodies in the box and unique finish.

Genshin Impact is a highly acclaimed mobile game that was released in 2020. It is playable on iOS, PlayStation, Windows, and Android platforms. It also became the fastest mobile game to reach $5 billion in revenue.

OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition: What's in the Box?

The design of the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition is similar to that of the traditional 12R, although it features a unique finish inspired by Keqing, a playable character in the game. This limited-edition smartphone features an Electric Violet shade.

This is a type of electro-etching process to give the rear glass panel a soft-touch finish, while Keqing's signature Lightning Stiletto gives the phone an edgy look. The phone also comes in a different box, filled with goodies.

There's a unique Genshin Impact-themed case, charging adapter, SIM Ejector, and USB-C cable. The box also includes a Chibi acrylic phone stand, a ton of magnets, and loads of other stuff. The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact also gets a fully customised UI with electrifying icons as well as boot, charging, and unlock animations inspired by the game.

The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition price in India is set at Rs 49,999 for the sole 16GB/256GB configuration. OnePlus is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 on OneCard transactions or an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000 on the purchase of the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact version.

OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Specifications

The specifications of the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition are the same as the standard version. The OnePlus 12R is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with the Adreno 740 GPU. The phone is equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The OnePlus 12R opts for a triple-camera setup that includes a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS support. The main camera is accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the OnePlus 12R's hole-punch cutout houses a 16 MP selfie camera.

The OnePlus 12R sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K Curved LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and HDR support. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It also packs a massive 5,500 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

The handset runs Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. The screen on the OnePlus 12R is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the phone features a glass back panel and an aluminum frame.
