OnePlus is expected to launch its next-gen flagship OnePlus 13 earlier than its expected timeline. The upcoming handset is most likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC which will be announced at the Snapdragon Summit in October 2024. According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the launch of the company's next-gen flagship is tentatively scheduled for the end of October to the beginning of November.

The OnePlus 13 is tipped to feature a 2K LTPO OLED curved display with an adaptive refresh rate and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. As mentioned above, the handset will ship with Qualcomm's next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 which is confirmed to come with the company's custom Oryon CPU and an improved NPU performance.

For optics, the OnePlus 13 is expected to come with a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor, the same is available on the OnePlus 12. Moreover, there will also be a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 50MP telephoto camera sensor with 3x optical zoom.

Earlier, the OnePlus 13 was expected to pack the same 5,400 mAh battery as the OnePlus 12. A new leak suggested that OnePlus might use a large 6000mAh or 6100mAh ultra-large silicon negative electrode battery for the next-gen flagship. However, it is expected to support the same 100W charging as the predecessor. We can expect slightly faster charge times this time.

The OnePlus 13 will also feature an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. As of now, there is no hint regarding India's launch timeline. We expect it could arrive sometime next year.
