OnePlus 13 Might Trade Off Wireless Charging; 6,000mAh Battery and Micro Curved Display Tipped
OnePlus is expected to launch the next-gen OnePlus 13 in the coming days. Although we are far from the launch, rumours and reports have given us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming OnePlus phone. Now, the latest development reveals the phone may not support wireless charging. Here's everything you should know about the OnePlus' next-gen flagship model.
OnePlus 13 May Not Support Wireless Charging
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 13 may not come with wireless charging support like its predecessor OnePlus 12, which supports 50W wireless charging. The tipster further reveals the OnePlus 13 will pack a larger 6,000 mAh battery and 100W charging support. However, an earlier report suggested the phone could pack the same 5,400 mAh battery with 100W charging support as the OnePlus 12.

Moreover, the OnePlus 13 is tipped to feature a micro curved 2K display. It is also expected to come with an ''Ultra Action'' three-stage custom button to replace the current three-stage alert slider. The upcoming OnePlus flagship will be one of the phones to feature the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which will be announced at the Snapdragon Summit in October 2024.
Apart from this, rumours suggested that OnePlus might redesign the camera arrangement for the OnePlus 13 but will have the same camera sensors as the OnePlus 12. All are speculations at this moment, so, it's better to take with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
As far as the launch is concerned, the exact launch timeline of the OnePlus 13 is still under wraps. It is expected to go official by the end of this year. In the same, OnePlus is expected to launch two Nord series devices - the Nord 4 and the Nord CE4 Lite 5G this month and next month, respectively.
