OnePlus has finally announced the launch date for the next-gen OnePlus 13 series in India. The brand is hosting its winter launch event on January 7 to unveil the OnePlus 13 and the 13R models.

In addition to the smartphones, the company might announce a few more products including a tablet, TWS, and watch at the same event. Here's everything you should know about the OnePlus Winter launch event.

OnePlus 13 Launch Event: How to Watch in India?

OnePlus is confirmed to host a global launch event for the OnePlus 13 series on January 7, which will be live-streamed at 9:30 PM IST on the brand's official YouTube channel and other social media platforms.

The standard OnePlus 13 was originally launched in China back in October, which gives us an idea of what to expect from the next-gen flagship. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

It will feature a 6.82-inch 2K 8T LTPO OLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate (1Hz-120Hz) and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The device will also pack a massive 6,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC wired, 50W wireless, and magnetic charging support.

For optics, the OnePlus 13 will offer a Hasselblad-tuned triple-camera setup housing a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens (114° FOV), and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Upfront, it will opt for a 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera.

As far as the price is concerned, the OnePlus 13 price in India could start from under Rs 70,000 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the handset is confirmed to come in three shades in India - White Dew Dawn, Obsidian Secrete Realm, and Blues Hour (Leather).

OnePlus 13R: Specifications and Expected Pricing

On the other hand, the OnePlus 13R will be an affordable version, which will succeed the OnePlus 12R. The smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5, which is tipped to go official in China on December 26 alongside the Ace 5 Pro.

In terms of features, the OnePlus 13R is likely to feature a 6.78-inch (1264×2780) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

For imaging, the phone might offer 50MP (f/1.8), 8MP (f/2.2), and 50MP (f/2.0) cameras on the rear panel, while there will be a 16MP selfie camera on the front. It is tipped to pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. On the software front, both the OnePlus 13 and the 13R will likely run OxygenOS 15.0 based on Android 15 out of the box.

There's no clue regarding the pricing of the upcoming OnePlus 13R at this moment. Given the price of the OnePlus 12R (Review), we expect the next-gen model will carry a similar price tag of around Rs 40,000 in India.
