OnePlus 13R with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 6000 mAh Battery, 50MP Telephoto Camera Launched in India

The OnePlus 13R has officially been unveiled in India alongside the flagship OnePlus 13. To recall, the OnePlus 13R made its initial debut in China last month as the OnePlus Ace 5, albeit with some minor tweaks.

The OnePlus 13R picks up where its predecessor left off, offering incredible performance for its price courtesy of its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Moreover, the phone also features an LTPO OLED display, a massive battery with wired fast charging support, a triple-camera setup, and the latest Android 15 software.

The OnePlus 13R price in India starts from Rs 42,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, it also comes in a 16GB/512GB configuration that will set you back Rs 49,999. The OnePlus 13R comes in Astral Trail and Nebula Noir colour options.

Customers who purchase the OnePlus 13R using ICICI Bank cards will get an instant discount of Rs 3,000 on the handset. OnePlus is also offering an exchange bonus up to Rs 4,000 on its latest flagship.

OnePlus 13R buyers will also get a free 180-day 'Phone Replacement Plan' and will be eligible for a Complimentary Airport Lounge Program. The OnePlus 13 will go on sale in India from January 13, 2025, through Amazon and OnePlus.in and partner retailers.

The OnePlus 13R is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone comes with a 9925mm² VC cooling area. The OnePlus 13R packs a 6000 mAh carbon silicon battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

Moreover, the OnePlus 13R sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Moreover, it also boasts an adaptive 1Hz - 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HDR Vivid formats. It packs dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options on the OnePlus 13R Pinclude 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an in-display fingerprint reader, and more.

For the cameras, the OnePlus 13R boasts a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor that supports OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera is backed by an 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a new 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto unit with an f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom. The OnePlus 13R runs OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. OnePlus promises four years of Android OS updates and six years of regular security patches with the 13R. It also features an IP65 rating for resistance to dust and water as well as a "double-sided crystal shield glass" making it more resistant to scratches.
