OnePlus 13T May Arrive Soon in India, Suggests Counterpoint Research Survey
OnePlus is all set to unveil its compact flagship OnePlus 13T today (April 24) in China. Now, it seems the brand will soon be bringing the smartphone to India. While there's no official word regarding the same, recent OnePlus-commissioned Counterpoint Research survey suggests that a compact flagship from OnePlus will be arriving soon.
OnePlus To Launch Compact Phone Soon in India
A new survey by Counterpoint Research shows that OnePlus might launch a smaller flagship smartphone soon in India. According to the survey, 74% of people prefer compact phones, but 68% say there aren't many good options available.

Many users want smaller phones that still have top-level features. In fact, 88% said they would buy a compact phone if it has a powerful processor and a long-lasting battery. Moreover, the survey highlights the importance of usability, with 73% of people preferring phones that are comfortable to use with one hand. For 60% of users, the ideal screen size is between 6 and 6.5 inches.
OnePlus 13T: What We Know So Far
The OnePlus 13T will feature a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels and a sharp pixel density of 460ppi. The screen will support 10-bit colour depth, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, full DCI-P3 colour coverage, and enhanced viewing with HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The OnePlus 13T will pack a 6260mAh "glacier battery", a first for compact smartphones, which will be paired with 80W charging. Despite the beefy battery, the phone will weigh only 185 grams.
Moreover, the OnePlus 13T will likely offer a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto shooter, and a 32MP selfie camera. On the software front, it will run Android 15 based on ColorOS 15 in China.
