OnePlus 15 Launched as Company’s First Phone Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 – Specs, Price & India Launch

As promised, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 15 in China, which comes as the company's first phone with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Let's take a look at detailed features, pricing, and availability of the OnePlus 15.

OnePlus 15 Specifications

The OnePlus 15 has a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X3 8T LTPO flat display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits of peak brightness. It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC paired with the Adreno 840 GPU and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

For imaging, there is a triple-rear camera unit, including a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. Moreover, the OnePlus 15 packs a 7300mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16. Lastly, the phone measures 8.31 mm in thickness and weighs 215 grams.

OnePlus 15 Price

The OnePlus 15 comes in five storage variants. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 3,999 yuan (around Rs. 49,500). The 16GB + 256GB variant costs 4,299 yuan (around Rs. 53,205), while the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at 4,599 yuan (around Rs. 56,900).

Moving up, the 16GB + 512GB version is available for 4,899 yuan (around Rs. 60,700). The top-end model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at 5,399 yuan (around Rs. 66,890).

OnePlus 15: India Launch

OnePlus has confirmed the arrival of the OnePlus 15 in India. However, the exact launch date is still under wraps. It's expected to go official next month. Following the launch, it will be available via Amazon, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live.
