OnePlus 15 With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chip Launching on October 27: OnePlus Ace 6 Will Tag Along
OnePlus has been teasing aspects of its upcoming flagship smartphone since the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip in September. Now, after weeks of teasing, the OnePlus 15 has finally got an official launch date in China.
OnePlus 15 Launch Date
The OnePlus 15 launch date is set for October 27 at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. Moreover, it will be unveiled alongside the OnePlus Ace 6, which will likely make its global debut as the OnePlus 15R.

In comparison, the OnePlus 15 positions itself as the more premium option and has already been confirmed to run on the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It will sport a 1.5K OLED display with an even faster 165Hz refresh rate, emphasizing its flagship status. The device is confirmed to launch in three colour options, Sand Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple, offering a refined aesthetic.
The OnePlus 15 will also feature a high-end triple camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens using Samsung's JN5 sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera for versatile photography. Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, giving users flexibility and speed.
OnePlus Ace 6 Specifications

The OnePlus Ace 6 is expected to feature a familiar design with a camera module that resembles the OnePlus 15, though it will offer a simpler dual-camera setup comprising a main and an ultrawide lens. The leaked silver variant sports a striped finish on the back along with a bold "ACE" logo, and more subtle colour options are also expected at launch. The OnePlus Ace 6 is teased to come in three colours: a striking silver, alongside more understated white and dark blue or black options.
On the front, the device may come equipped with a 1.5K BOE OLED display offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, along with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. It is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and backed by a massive 7,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The build quality is said to be premium with a metal frame, IP68 water and dust resistance, and toughened glass protection.
