OnePlus 15R Price in India Revealed Ahead of Launch on December 17: Check Full Specifications Here

The OnePlus 15R is set to make its debut in India next week on December 17. While the OnePlus 15R is expected to be a rebranded version of the Ace 6T that was unveiled in China earlier this month, the 15R does feature a few tweaks.

The OnePlus 15R will debut as the first smartphone to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. It will be accompanied by the OnePlus Pad Go 2. And while details about the OnePlus 15R's specifications are readily available, pricing is still under wraps, until now.

According to tipster Paras Guglani, the OnePlus 15R price in India will start from anywhere between Rs 45,999 or Rs 46,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the handset will also come in a 12GB/512GB configuration that could cost Rs 51,999.

Guglani claims that these prices won't include bank offers, that could offer a further Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 discount on the OnePlus 15R. The OnePlus 15R will come in Charcoal Black and Minty Green shades.

OnePlus has confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor will power the OnePlus 15R, making it the first smartphone worldwide to ship with Qualcomm's latest flagship platform. OnePlus says the brand and Qualcomm spent nearly two years refining this chipset for better speed and power management.

The OnePlus 15R is expected to use a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution. The company has also revealed support for a 165Hz refresh rate, matching the OnePlus 15 and aiming at fluid scrolling and smoother gameplay, especially for users who prioritise mobile gaming performance.

Battery capacity is another key upgrade for the OnePlus 15R. OnePlus has confirmed a 7400 mAh unit, larger than both last year's OnePlus 14R successor and the current flagship OnePlus 15. The smartphone is also expected to support 80W fast charging, though detailed charging claims are yet to be shared.

Camera details are still unofficial, but several reports point to a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS on the OnePlus 15R. This could be paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, while the front may feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and social media use.

Durability appears central to the OnePlus 15R story, with leaks suggesting IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. These ratings would indicate protection against dust, water immersion and even high-pressure water jets.
